Saturday, May 23 – Explore + Create Saturday
1:00-3:00 PM

Using paper collage, we will be learning about Coast Salish design elements, inspired by Haida artist Corey Bulpitt, also known as Taakeit Aaya, “Gifted Carver”. Corey’s painting on wood, Untitled, was in response to Bill Reid’s [Sngoqann] Haida Sockey Salmon, and we will be looking at both works to get our inspiration. Hope to see you at the Smith!
Explore + Create Saturday is a family drop-in art making program for adults and children ages 5-12 years old. Admission is free and donations are welcomed.
