The winner of this print must answer a skill-based question before receiving their prize. If they cannot answer this question correctly, a new winner will be chosen. The winner must be over the age of 19. The winner cannot be living in Quebec. A release form will be sent to the winner. No purchase necessary. Thanks to your generous support in 2022, we accomplished remarkable feats. Working together with Artists for Kids, we provided bursaries for children to attend the AFK Summer Camp in Paradise Valley, delivered scholarships to students entering post-secondary education in the visual arts, curated captivating and inclusive Canadian art exhibitions, facilitated meaningful connections between artists and students, filled the Gordon Smith Gallery with live music concerts, and offered weekly free, inspiring art-making workshops for children and their families.
And that’s not all! We worked to acquire three significant artworks for the vital Artists for Kids and Gordon Smith Gallery Collection, showcasing teachings from a wide spectrum of experiences, and enabling storytelling from all facets of our community. Your continued support can pave the way for even greater achievements.
Since 2002, the Smith Foundation has supported this collective vision. Thanks to the consistent generosity of our patrons, we have allocated $2.7 million to build the Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art, dedicated over $500,000 to curate captivating exhibitions and outreach initiatives, granted $1 million dollars to Artists for Kids operating budget, and contributed $3 million to an Endowment held by the Vancouver Foundation, ensuring the enduring financial stability of Artists for Kids.
Your donation to the Smith Foundation will contribute to a dynamic arts programming landscape with education at its core. You’ll also enable Artists for Kids to extend gallery tours for students, weekly art workshops, artists-in-residence enrichment programs, and after-school classes and camps, all taught by dedicated art educators, to thousands of children and youth.

World Class Exhibitions
• Each spring and summer, we bring national-level art exhibitions to you, featuring dynamic artists.

• Artists for Kids offers unique visual arts educational experiences for children.

Gordon Smith Gallery’s Acquisition Fund
• Your support helps us acquire art from emerging and established Canadian artists.

Artists-in-Residence
• The Artist-in-Residence program connects artists, educators, and students through intentional and meaningful programming.

• Experience a brand-new Speaker Series program, focusing on the impact and value of art education and lifelong learning.
Free Family Fun
• Our Explore and Create program offers tours of Gordon Smith Gallery exhibitions and hands-on art workshops for young children and parents.
• This low-barrier, family-oriented program introduces visual art to young minds.
